Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! =0 I can't believe he won every single award he was nominated for! =D  I mean, I just wasn't sure if his fans would be able to pull it off. ,_, But when I think about how many times I voted and got my friends to vote, too, of course he did it, haha!!!!!!!!!! ^_^ He's really been working hard this year - so happy for him! <3

Archuleta Style - From His Clothes to His Car

This is one of those things that's possibly small enough to file under "Twitter-ables" but I think it's cool enough for the blog! I found a cool site - CoolSpotters.com - and the have a page for Archuleta. I already knew he like most of the listed brads/products (like Converse sneakers) but many were new to me. There are also a few things that I can think of that could be added to his page (I actually may join the site and do just that).

Archie Finally Performed "Desperate"!

David said he was "nervous" about performing it, and although you couldn't hear it in his voice (he sang brilliantly - read the vids comments on the YouTube page!) I bet he was because the song is very complex and has some amazing notes in it. I'm thrilled they added it to the show and I hope he sings it at other shows as well.

And I really love the small changes to the songs arrangement. Very nice job on the keyboard as well.

Shonetelle - "Thank you for being a friend..." to Archie :)

Over on ShontelleOnline.com, they've turned their attention to Shontelle and Archies friendship. Everyone knows they met last year at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (Archie looked so cold but he looked great anyway lol). I think Shontelle seems super-duper nice, and if Archie does too, then we know she must be!

I'm following her on Twitter and I think she's one of the BEST (Possibly right after my 1st place pick - Archie, of course) twitter-ers EVER. So, I advice you to follow her. :) She tweets to (and about) David A WHOLE LOT. That alone makes her follow-worthy to me.

David Cook - Musicfest - (A really cute) Interview

Every year Bethlehem, Pennsylvania holds a musical extravaganza called Musicfest. On th 3rd David Cook performed. Before doing so he did a zippy interview with the cites local new station WFMZ 69 News.

"Cook chit-chatted with our own Meteorologist Amanda Cox. Turns out, the two grew up together in Missouri. And, they were even 7th grade sweethearts!"

Blog is under heavy construction. We were briefly unable to tackle the task of blogging about the Davids on a consistent and at-least-daily basis. We felt we were completely unable to bring anything special to the large collection of blogs and fansites, such as the Snarkies, that are currently so supportive of the Davids. So, we completely gave up...for a while. We're back on now.We're now even bigger fans of the Davids and the blog will be running better than ever shortly (could be a week or two).

Archies Newest Vlog

P.S. : This is only my two cents on the Michael Buble thing. David was texting as they were asking the question. It's possible the "evil eye", as people have been calling, was induced by the text and not the mention of the Buble. lol  It's certainly more fun to think of it being for Buble (unless your a fan of Buble, too, and you're dreaming of a duet of the two singers, lol) but it is quite possible it was the text. Possible and just more likely really. Really, really.

A Super, Cool Review for Archuleta's Tour!

Okay, there are tons of interesting reviews for Archies shows all oner the net and in newspapers, as his shows are really good, but, this one I particularly enjoyed reading.

Here's my fav. snippet:

I must refute the constant claim that Archuleta's fans are all teen-age girls. While, yes, there were quite a few matching that description in the crowd, there were also plenty of men and women of all ages. In the pit in front of the stage, easily 40 percent of the people singing along and bopping up and down were male.
As for the show, well, it was fantastic. If you liked David during "Idol," you would probably like him even more now. His stage presence has obviously benefited from months of live performances. And as the reviewer for the local newspaper noted, nary an off note was heard all night.
There are three things about David Archuleta that strike me as refreshing:
• His technical singing skills are rare among pop singers. His powerful voice completely fills the venue — and yet he always resists the temptation to go over the top.
• You can't help but notice how much he simply loves music and singing. He's been called a human jukebox because of the way he breaks into song every time he hears a phrase that reminds him of a song lyric.

 I LOVE the human jukebox thing. It reminds me of the B96 interview (one of his best) where the guy hands him the new, "upgraded" Carmax lip balm and Archie sings a bit of Beyonces "Upgrade U."

They will be performing in Manila on the 16th. It'll be at the Mall of Asia Open Ground. Almost everyone knows Archie's got a good, hearty fan base out there, but I guess this means Cook's got peeps out there, too.

I Feel A Bit Bad For Cook...

I feel a bit bad for him.. whilst envying his wisdom and strategy in doing this!

First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has been coming out to the shows since my last post. The vibe at these shows has been amazing.
Secondly, I have to address some behavior that has become disturbing. We pride ourselves on being accessible to you as fans, but in contrast, we do enjoy what little privacy we can muster. To that end, the efforts by some fans to find our hotel rooms, call our hotel rooms, attach things to our bus, etc., is something I have to condemn. This relationship only works when it remains healthy for both parties, and should this behavior continue, the only thing we can do is take more preventative measures to maintain our privacy, which in turn makes us less accessible to you.
I hope this doesn’t come off as harsh. I merely want to nip this in the bud so we can continue to have a great experience with all of you at the shows we have coming up. Take care and see you at the next show.

Okay, (up until now) I'm only subscribed to Archies blog - I knew Cook had one also but didn't find it as interesting the first time I read it or something; not as captivating as Archies writings, lol. Cooks newest blog has caught not only my attention but loads of people. Sadly, in a negative way. At least I (and probably many more people) have subscribed now (!), that may make Cook feel a bit better? No, probably not. lol


Back to the main issue. He's basically asking fans to, I guess, calm down. Bring your manners to his shows. Stop scaring him, lol. Some of the stories of stuff going down at his shows (alllllll of which surely - well, hopefully, aren't true) are pretty terrible. People doing very offensive things. Check the link at the end of this post for more on that (WARNING: It's disturbing/PG:13-ish ). I won't list any as I don't know if they're true. And, I don't want that junk on my blog, lol. If any of those stories are true, his blog on this is definitely more than due. Also, for the not so completely nutty things, like, people invading his privacy, I think many people just didn't know they were being bothersome in anyway. Really. They probably didn't think about it from that angle at all. Now he's got everyone thinking more. Plus, he asked super-duper politely - I'm wishing Cook happy (and as private as he'd like) travels!

He made this blog rather brief :( (don't we all prefer when he "rambles"). He talked about how Lesley Roy won't be on tour with him after the Boise show and how much he will miss her. Oh, and said if anyone wants to bring her any gifts she likes Peanut M&M's. I like those too, haven't had them in next to forever. Like, years.

He talked (uber-enthusiastically!) about having time off and spending some of it at the movies (he saw - and gave a mini review of the new spooky-lush-eye-candy-pic-for-kids [er, except that one craaazy scene] Coraline).

He also hung out with Kendra (she's the only chick in his band - Kenda holdin' it down, representing the ladies!) and her pleasant family.

He also spent quite a bit of time talking about an organization called the Rising Star Outreach that helps people in India battling the skin disease Leprosy (the disease itself and, on top of that, the social stigma surrounding it). He seems to be very moved by their situations and he explained the organizations work in a way that I found moving. Cook Will Be On Idol Wed. April 1st!

Cook's going to be on Idol!!! We knew he'd be on the show for this seasons final episode (for the handing over of the Idol crown) but this is a bit of a nice suprise! He will be on Idol on Wednesday, April 1 - mark those calenders, although, I won't be - since I never miss an episode of Idol anyways.

A neat little video of a neat little photoshoot. About 25 of A.I. biggest stars. American Idol is really promoting it's new attraction at Disney. It looks like a lot of energy has gone into making it look as realistic as possible. Archie himself described it as "freakishly similar to the real stage" on a resent MySpace blog. And Cook performed with another one of our favorites Carrie Underwood.
